Insomnia.......

Insomnia…..
It matters not if it’s day or night
I just know this is my pitiful plight….
My Elysian nights a far off dream
As my mind’s calisthenics
Paves way to surface those buried screams
Of dirge , fear and lunacy
Under the mammoth weight of my cadaverous thoughts
My mind reels and soul shudders
I lie there writhing like a baffled Bat
My eyes have long forgotten their shutters-
I lie awake… wandering…wondering
