Heart fonder or mind wander!!

Does time and space make the mind wander
Or the heart grow fonder....! [;)] ???


Been a long time since I ve penned anything remotely resemblin a rhyme scheme.. Err leave alone poetry...!

It was a day to remember
A day to cherish...
With caution thrown asunder
Sweet memories to relish

We were seated on a swing
Perched over the mountains High
Watchin the darkness wed the moutains with a ring
And the mist embrace em both with a contented sigh!

The dance then began:
The golden rays of the fading sun
The little lights of the village down
The swaying trees of the mountains brown
The cheerful lull of the sylvan town


As the swing gently rocked
The once azure sky turned a now deep purple hue
Zephyr gently caressed our souls with an impish mock
Then our spirits caught the cue

As the mystic sleep enveloped us,
A little smile adorned our lips

A smile that spoke volumes abt contentment
About peace and wonderous moments
About secrets burried deep
About moments that make u mock a weep
